As our company has continued to evolve over the years, we have sought to provide a level of television programming that embodies excellence and style in an educational as well as informational format. To this end, I am proud to introduce WBR’s Health Journal Television (HJTV). HJTV focuses on the latest developments in both health care and medical science. The programming will reach 650 Hospitals and Medical Universities through the Health & Sciences Television Network (HSTN), 750 Long-Term Care facilities through the Long Term Care Network (LTCN), 17 million potential households through the Health Network, as well as 15.1 million households on Recovery Network. Additionally HJTV will air on PBS the Business and Technology Network, US Public Television and Independents (50 million TV households). The series will also air in full stream video on broadcast.yahoo. For the business traveler, HJTV will be aired on United Airlines International flights.

In launching HJTV, we produced and aired a thought provoking two-hour; four part series for the American Lung Association as part of a special ongoing series entitled "In Search of a Cure." Highlighted in this in-depth documentary was John R. Garrison. John has been an important part of our medical programming over the last four years and is also a TATE Medical Advisory Board member and recently, CEO of the American Lung Association. Making an invaluable contribution to the series was C. Everett Koop, former Surgeon General of the United States. John R. Kirkwood, Chief Executive Officer, American Lung Association and American Lung Association President Elect Judge Cordell D. Meeks, Jr. also provided their gifted insight.

In addition to our new medical series, we enhanced our technology line-up with a special documentary on the Telecommunication Industry Association’s (TIA) Supercomm Information Exposition. Featured in this educational program was Matthew J. Flanigan. In addition to being President of the TIA, Matt is also a long-time industry expert on World Business Review and TATE Advisory Board Member. Joining him in this feature presentation were a number of industry leaders including Edward Whitacre, Chairman & CEO of SBC Communications and Jack Chalden, Supercom GM. Additional insight was included by FCC Chairman Michael Powell.

I am both excited and pleased by the direction our programming is taking in this new millennium. With the combination of our Documentary Series, Health Journal Television, On-Location and our In-Studio Feature presentations, I am convinced we are providing the finest line-up in educational and informational programming available for the business and medical professionals as well as the general viewer. Thanks for watching!
